FeeCanvas is an independent browser extension offered through AngelesTech. It helps you estimate selling profit. This policy explains local handling; local processing is still use of data, even though it is not sent to us.

Active listing information

Only when you press Read active Etsy listing, FeeCanvas may read the active Etsy product page’s title, price, currency, unambiguous destination-specific shipping and listing ID / URL. It looks for structured product data, product metadata and limited price elements. It does not monitor pages continuously, read your browsing history, sign into accounts or alter listings. Tracking parameters are removed from the returned listing URL. Listing details are held temporarily in the open panel. An accepted price or shipping amount becomes part of your saved calculator input.

Calculator, settings and profiles

Valid calculation inputs, your fee and currency settings for up to 20 named shops, up to 100 named product cost profiles per shop, your onboarding choice, saved margin-alert settings, provider column templates and a saved CSV column mapping are stored in chrome.storage.local on your device. Chrome cloud synchronization is not used. FeeCanvas does not separately encrypt this local storage; use a trusted device and browser profile. Invalid unfinished calculator edits remain only in the open panel. Local data remains until you reset it or uninstall the extension.

CSV files

Files you choose or drop are read locally in browser memory. They are never uploaded. Recognized buyer personal-information columns, including buyer names, email addresses, phone numbers and shipping addresses, are ignored and removed from the parsed preview table. Only selected order identifiers, product fields and financial fields are analyzed. Do not map personal information into a product or financial field; remove custom personal-data columns that cannot be recognized by their headers before importing.

Original files are not persisted. By default, derived results are temporary. When you enable local history and press Save to history, dated financial summaries, product labels and their allocated financial totals, currency, shop IDs and hashed order/event identifiers are stored locally, up to 10,000 records. Raw order IDs are not included in history; product labels are retained for product trends, and hashes are pseudonymous identifiers, not encryption. Imported data is discarded when you clear the import, switch shops, reset data or close the panel. Changing navigation tabs keeps the temporary session available. Saved order/provider column mappings contain column names and import options only, not row values. Statement and Etsy Ads files, reconciliation results, row corrections and account-export settings remain temporary and are never saved in history. File names are not saved. A local worker parses and analyzes order files, subject to size and row limits. The browser necessarily reads selected file bytes into memory to parse them; this is not remote collection.

Backups and exports

You may download financial summary, provider review and accounting CSVs, and a versioned JSON backup of your settings, shops, profiles, mappings and history. Exported order CSVs include mapped order identifiers and exported product CSVs include product names. Files are written only when you request an export. Backups are not encrypted; keep them in a trusted location. Restore validates the format and asks before replacing local data. Provider CSVs are processed temporarily to match exact order IDs and currency; no Printify or Printful account is accessed.

No remote transfer, analytics or advertising

FeeCanvas does not sell, share or send your calculations, profiles, listing information or files to a remote server. It has no backend, usage analytics, tracking SDK, third-party advertising, login account or cloud sync. All runtime code is bundled with the extension. FeeCanvas does not attach your data to feedback links. Its use of information received through Chrome APIs is limited to providing these user-facing features, consistent with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

External links and feedback

Pressing Send Feedback opens the AngelesTech contact page in a new tab. That website’s policies apply to your visit and anything you choose to submit there. Official Etsy fee-source links also open external websites with their own policies. FeeCanvas does not send your estimate or CSV content through those links.

Your controls

You can turn history off, delete all history from History, export a backup, restore a validated backup, change inputs and settings, delete individual product profiles, clear a CSV session, or select Settings → Reset local data → Delete all local data. Reset removes FeeCanvas’s saved data and returns the interface to its initial example. Uninstalling the extension also removes its local extension storage. Turning history off does not delete saved records. Reset or uninstall does not delete exported backups or original CSV files on your computer.

Results are estimates, not tax, legal or accounting advice. FeeCanvas is not affiliated with or endorsed by Etsy, Printify or Printful. Their names are used only to describe supported contexts.
